VIVA Presbyopia pIOL Implantation preserves the eye's structure while providing
a seamless, continuous range of vision from near to far.

By not cutting the cornea, it reduces the risk of dry eye syndrome
and maintains high-definition visual quality.

A single lens addresses both presbyopia and nearsightedness at once.

If necessary after surgery, the lens can be removed to restore
the eye to its original pre-operative state 100%.

EDOF (Extended Depth of Focus) technology provides
a seamless and clear range of vision.
Apgujeong Eye Center's VIVA implantation uses Collamer,
a biocompatible material proven safe through extensive clinical trials.
A globally recognized presbyopia solution,
For complex presbyopia lens surgery,
our international consultants use proven expertise to elevate
both visual quality and safety standards.
Q&A
We transparently provide the information patients are
most concerned about before surgery.
A. If cataracts progress in the future, the VIVA lens can be simply
removed,
allowing you to undergo standard cataract surgery. This makes it
very safe in the long term.
A. The lens is placed in a fixed space behind the iris, making it completely
invisible from the outside.
Since there are no nerves in that area, you will not feel any foreign body sensation.
A. With anesthetic eye drops, there is almost no pain. Because the cornea is preserved,
recovery is fast enough to allow light daily activities starting the very next day.
Apgujeong Eye Center operates a systematic aftercare
program to ensure stable vision recovery.
We closely check the lens stability and vision stabilization through
regular check-ups at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months post-surgery.
We provide thorough instructions on precautions for about one month after surgery
(e.g., abstaining from alcohol, avoiding strenuous exercise) to prevent risks of side effects.
We provide a dedicated system for lifelong tracking of eye health through
annual check-ups to monitor age-related changes.
